ABSTRACT<br />
A step-by-step guide for communities to assess the current status of water<br />
security, in terms of water quality and water quantity in relati<strong>on</strong> to aquatic<br />
ecosystem health and human health. The methodology is tested within the<br />
Township of Langley, British Columbia. The approach can be adapted to use<br />
site specific indicators of water quality and quantity for aquatic ecosystem and<br />
human health.<br />
