In practical terms, it refers to the speed of the pixels and how quickly they can change from one colour to another, and therefore how fast the<br />
picture can be redrawn. The faster this transition can change the better and with more fluid changes the images can change overall a lot<br />
faster. This helps reduce the effects of blurring / ghosting which can result if response time is too slow. In very general terms the lower the<br />
response time the better.
