OBITUARY:<br />
LORETO <strong>MARSELLA</strong> RITES<br />
The funeral <strong>of</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Loreto Marsella, <strong>of</strong> 201 Jacoby St., noted area muscian, composer, and<br />
band leader who died Thursday in Montgomery Hospital at the age <strong>of</strong> 90, will be held at 8 A. M.<br />
Monday from the Santoro Funeral Home, 1040 DeKalb St. Solemn Requiem Mass will be<br />
celebrated at 9 in Holy Saviour Church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may<br />
call at the funeral home Sunday evening after 7.<br />
Mr. Marsella is survived by a daughter, Italia, wife <strong>of</strong> Dr. G. A. Sisca, 1647 Powell St; and four<br />
sons, Alexander, <strong>of</strong> Lincr<strong>of</strong>t, N. J.; Hector, 1030 W. Main St., Dante, 1709 New Hope St.; and<br />
Victor, 201 E. Jacoby St. A brother, Augustus, Providence, R. I., ten grandchildren, and five<br />
great-grandchildren also survive.<br />
Members <strong>of</strong> the Verdi Band will assemble in uniform at the Santoro Funeral Home at 7 Sunday<br />
evening and will act as honor guard during the viewing. They also will be pall bearers.<br />
Among the many honors Pr<strong>of</strong>. Marsella received was a citation conferred last year by the Catholic<br />
War Veterans.<br />
