request for a wider scope to my book, Crystal Power, Crystal Healing set the
ball rolling. Thus my work on the gemstone guide, begun originally in 1993,
came to completion 10 years later. Above all, my special thanks go to Annette
Jakobi from Cairn Elen for her untiring research efforts, Walter von Holst for all
information, comments and corrections related to gem remedies, Bernhard
Bruder from EPI for the gemstone analysis and correction of the mineralogical
