PRODUCT 1 Leptospermum Scorparium
Found throughout New Zealand, Manuka (comman name) is excellent for revegetation and for
plantations for honey production. Manuka grows to 3-4m in height. It has small narrow sharply
pointed dark green leaves, and bears masses of small white flowers from spring into early summer.
It is internationally famous for the medicinal properties of the honey. It is tolerant of practically any
conditions and is used in most revegetation projects nation wide.

PRODUCT 2 Kunzia Ericoides
Found throughout New Zealand, Kanuka (comman name) can reach heights of 6-8m. It has small
narrow dark green leaves, with small white flowers that appear in abundance during the summer.
Very hardy tolerating drought, frosts and poor soils. Perfect for revegatation.

PRODUCT 3 Phormium Tenax
Versatile plant of extreme vigour with rich green sword like foliage up to 3m long. Abundant
throughout New Zealand particularly in wetland areas. Perfect for revegetation, riparian plantings,
and for landscaping. Great attractor to native birds such as Tui.

PRODUCT 4 Phormium Cookianum
Known as mountain flax, this species is found from North Cape to Stewart Island, from sea level to
1300m, growing on steep cliff faces or growing among rocks not far from the water’s edge. The foliage
is typically a lime green colour, with erect leaves growing to a height of 1.5m. Distinguished by slightly
twisted and pendulous seed pods which ripen three months after Phormium Tenax. Great revegetation
and landscape plant.

PRODUCT 5 Baumea Articulata
This is a vigorous rush type plant found growing in swampy areas. It has round dark green segmented
stems which grow to a height of 1.2m. The flowering stems are about as long as the leaves with reddish
brown seed spikes. It will grow in shallow water making it ideal for wetland plantings.

PRODUCT 6 Schoenoplectus Validus/Tabernaemontani
A plant that grows in swamps and margins of waterways. It grows from creeping rhizo zomes to
a height of 1.6m, with thick blue-green stems and brown flowering seed spikes. Per erfectly suited
to wetland plantings.
