<strong>KEXP</strong>’s operations expenses in 2010—the<br />

largest portion of <strong>KEXP</strong>’s expense budget.<br />

<strong>KEXP</strong>’s fundraising and administration<br />

expenses accounted for 33% and 7%,<br />

respectively. In comparison with a representative<br />

sample of our public radio peers,<br />

<strong>KEXP</strong> spends a higher-than-average<br />

percentage of expenses on programming<br />

activities.<br />

As directed by <strong>KEXP</strong>’s Governing Board,<br />

the organization continued to accrue<br />

operating reserves in 2010. <strong>KEXP</strong> added<br />

to its cash reserves, bringing the total<br />
