SOUTH MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 21, 2009

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Truax.

Phyllis made a motion to approve the minutes. Tom seconded, & the vote in favor was
unanimous.
PUBLIC INPUT:
There was no public input.
#06-25 TRAMMEL CROW (SPARKS TRACT) – Final Subdivision
This plan was tabled.
#07-04 LIMESTONE CREEK, PHASE 1 – Final Subdivision & Land Development:
Steve Tiley presented this plan. The applicant proposes to construct the first 44 of 186 new lots
on 100 acres along South Spring Garden Street. The 100 acres includes approximately 13 acres
along the Letort Spring Run. Of those 13 acres, there will be 1 lot for the existing house of
approximately 1.62 acres, and the remaining area of 11.26 will remain as open space/recreation
area. Discussion on the new phasing schedule took place with Planning Commission stating the
applicant will need to convince the Board of Supervisors of the phase schedule change.
There was no public comment.
Phyllis made a motion to recommend approval of plan #07-04 subject to staff comments.
Howard seconded and the roll call vote was unanimous.

#09-05C NEW CINGULAR WIRELESS, PCS d/b/a AT&T Mobility c/o Bechtel
Telecommunications – Conditional Use
Jeff Ernico presented this conditional use. The applicant is proposing to construct additional
antennas on an existing telecommunications tower in the AC (Agricultural and Conservation)
Zoning District. The property is located at 420 W. First Street, Boiling Springs, PA. Planning
Commission stated their approval of co-locating on an existing tower.
There was no public comment.
Tom made a motion to recommend approval of conditional use #09-05C. Phyllis seconded and
the roll call vote was unanimous.
