A380<br />
Delivering the world’s most effi cient aircraft<br />
The new A380 double-decker is the most spacious<br />
and effi cient aircraft fl ying today. It has 525 seats<br />
and allows airlines to offer customers an unrivalled<br />
level of comfort. Conceived to bring airlines specifi c<br />
economic and environmental benefi benefi ts, it increases<br />
capacity on long haul routes where landing slots are<br />
limited and lowers costs per passenger. The A380<br />
is the only passenger aircraft of this size.<br />
A350 XWB<br />
Responding to airline demand<br />
The A350 XWB (extra wide body) is Airbus’ newest<br />
aircraft and its response to demand for a mediumcapacity,<br />
long-range, wide-body Family. With a<br />
fuselage made largely of carbon fi bre, its low weight<br />
meets the challenges of high fuel prices and environmental<br />
concerns. The wide-body gives passengers<br />
greater comfort on long journeys. Launched in 2006,<br />
the A350 XWB is still in development with the<br />
fi fi rst delivery scheduled for 2013.<br />

Providing versatility<br />
The A330 /A340 Family has the versatility for either<br />
regional routes or long-range fl ights. One basic<br />
airframe is available in six different confi gurations,<br />
powered by two or four engines. The twin-engine<br />
A330 is designed to generate maximum revenue<br />
and and low operating costs on regional and extendedrange<br />
routes while the four-engine A340 provides<br />
fl exibility on the most demanding long-range and<br />
