and bus<strong>in</strong>essmen. The <strong>Burundi</strong>an government as well as the people appreciate their role<br />
<strong>in</strong> the country’s economy and treat them well. Some PIOs enjoy high status <strong>in</strong> the country<br />
and have direct access to senior <strong>of</strong>ficials <strong>in</strong> the <strong>Burundi</strong>an government.<br />
