maintain up-to-date automated requirements and authorizations for all 8th <strong>Army</strong> peacetime and<br />

wartime accounts.<br />

j. OPLOAD AMA/DDI will not be included in this report.<br />

k. 19 th ESC will provide each MSC a report of assets in the hands of the troops as well as<br />

alternate SCLs quarterly. The MSC ACL manager will validate the report and return a copy to 19th<br />

ESC within 10 working days. Discrepancies in alternate SCL accounts will be reconciled with<br />

approved and endorsed Electronic DA Form 581(s).<br />

l. MSCs will include unit ACL accountability as an area of inspection of their Command Supply<br />

Discipline Program (CSDP).<br />

m. HQ 8th <strong>Army</strong> G4 will include unit ACL accountability as an area of inspection to the<br />

Command Logistic Review Program (CLRP).<br />

2-7. Alternate Storage Of ACL<br />

a. Area CDRs are responsible for establishing priority of draw for stored ACL IAW area CDR’s<br />

force protection plan and G3 guidance.<br />

b. ACL may be stored at the unit’s supporting ordnance company as SCL. When a unit<br />

determines that their AHA is inadequate for storing its ACL, the unit will request SCL IAW <strong>AK</strong> <strong>Reg</strong><br />

5-13.<br />

2-8. Retrieval/Distribution Plans<br />

a. MSCs and Installation managers will--<br />

(1) Ensure that all units with SCL have a Retrieval Plan and exercise the plan every 6<br />

months IAW SOP established by their servicing ordnance company.<br />

(2) Review ACL retrieval and distribution plans semi-annually.<br />

(3) Ensure retrieval and distribution plans are updated within 30 days after receipt of an 8th<br />

<strong>Army</strong> approved ACL/SCL LOA.<br />

(4) Notify the 6 th Ordnance BN, SPO, 765-7878, when ordered to deploy, per deployment<br />

movement plans/division readiness standing operating procedures (RSOP).<br />

b. All units with SCL will—<br />

(1) Incorporate their retrieval and distribution plan into their deployment/movement<br />

plans/division RSOP. The plans should contain the following:<br />

(a) A listing of approved ACL separated into two categories: (1) Ammo To-<br />

Accompany-Troops (TAT), and (2) Not-To-Accompany-Troops (NON-TAT) which is carried on<br />

vehicles.<br />

(b) Procedures by which the deploying unit notifies the supporting installation CDR and<br />

the service support activity (SSA)/ASP of a mobilization and deployment.<br />
