HEAD OF INSTITUTION
It is a privilege to present to you the third batch of MBA students from
Amity Global Business School, Ahmedabad for placement. Amity is
India's largest private sector education group with 4 Universities
(duly recognized by UGC, HRD Ministry and several other
accreditations), comprising of management schools and a pan-
India presence covering 13 locations across India and 6 campuses
abroad. Established under the aegis of Ritanand Balved Education
Foundation, a not for profit foundation 21 years ago, Amity today is
a legacy in itself, wherein about 80,000 students are pursuing over
240 programmes spread across 1000 acres of campuses, with a
team of over 3,500 faculty members operating in a meritocratic environment.
Amity learning methods are a unique blend of psychological inputs in learning, character building
modules and most updated learning methods, delivered through experienced, full time core faculty
and industry experts, an industry-relevant course structure, a high tech campus, extensive corporate
interface and well rounded student activity calendar in terms of social responsibility initiatives,
co-curricular activities, management games and sports.
Our academic grooming during the 2 years of MBA + PGPM experience is designed to create a
lifelong impact on the personalities, behavior, values, character, skills and abilities of the students; we
facilitate, shape and transform them to make them industry-ready. Our alumni and students have
several laurels to their credit and are recognized for their contributions to their employers, having
received excellent feedback.
The batch of 2011-12 totals 24 students with dual specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human
Resources and International Business. Our dual specialization system is aimed at broadening their
horizon beyond a specific discipline, to give them cross functional insights into business challenges.
Depending upon your deliverables and profile, our students can take upon specific or cross functional
roles. Whereas the final semester exams are slated to be held in May 2012, we invite you to participate
in the selection and placement process much earlier so that you can have early access to our best
students and give us an opportunity to place our students in reputed organisations like yours.
