The program planned by the
Royal Danish Circus for its Sep.
28-Oct. 2 date at the Cumberland
(Me.) Fair will run about 45 minutes.
The show is to be presented
on a stage in the Exhibition Hall
and will include clowns Dan, Ho
Po and Boxem.
The program features: Diana
on web; Miss Tina, single trapeze
Bongo, comedy gorilla; Alberta &
Rosita, plate spinning; Les Thinis,
trampoline; and a balloon
throwing finale.
The Good One
Near capacity crowds filled
the big top for each Big John
Strong Circus performance at the
Griffith, Ind., date of Aug. 2-3,
where the show was backed by the
Volunteer Fire Dept. Music was
provided by a piano and drums and
the program was directed by John
Strong and Betty Wendany.
The program included: Clown
warm-up; Poco, clown with dog;
The Michael Family, juggling;
Heidi Wendany, juggling; Poco and
Pete, clowns; Betty and Heidi,
pony revue; Sandy Strong with
Arthur, the macaw; two rings of
dog acts; the Strongettes, swinging
ladders; clown on ladder; Intermission;
Heidi and horse Shalomar;
Chris DeWayne and elephant
Neona; Swami Amazo, Indian Fakir;
Poco and the balloon; Bicentennial
Salute Finale.
