Advanced Medical<br />
Coding ICD-9<br />
This course compiles and summarizes<br />
the official coding guidelines concerning<br />
the most common yet complex diagnosis<br />
coding issues. The course is organized<br />
by Issues Coding Clarification, Physician<br />
Documentation Issues and Coding<br />
Scenarios. Real-life coding problems are<br />
presented with ICD-9-CM solutions. A<br />
non-graded bonus module, “Introduction<br />
to ICD-10,” is included. ICD-9 codes<br />
will be replaced with ICD-10 by Oct.<br />

Advanced Medical<br />
Coding CPT<br />
This course summarizes the official<br />
coding guidelines concerning the most<br />
common, yet complex diagnosis coding<br />
issues. Primary emphasis is on Evaluation<br />
and Management and Surgery codes.<br />
The course provides a five-step outline<br />
used to help you successfully code the<br />
exercises/scenarios within the problems.<br />
Detailed medical history reports, including<br />
post-operative reports, are provided<br />
from which CPT codes are determined.<br />
Students will keep abreast of changing<br />
technology by using a one-year online<br />
database license from SpeedECoder that<br />
contains ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT current<br />
codes.<br />
Anatomy & Physiology I<br />
This course presents the structure of organisms<br />
by body systems and analyzes the<br />
normal function of body organs. Fullcolor<br />
