Jeta Starova - Mehmeti Jeta Starova-Mehmeti has finished primary school for music in the conservatory “Francis Poulenc” in Paris in the class of Professor Stephane Limonaire and graduated in the conservatory “Alfred Korto” in Paris where she specialized in the class of Professor Pierr- Yves Artaud. Currently she is preparing her Master in the Faculty of Music in Skopje. She has won several international awards and also was awarded with the first places in France, Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia etc. Ermal Mehmeti Ermal Mehmeti has studied in Academy of Beautiful Arts in Tirana in the class of well known professor Ibrahim Madhi and took a residency in the conservatory “Alfred Cortot” in Paris in the class of Professor Solange Dessane. Currently he is preparing his Master in the folklore Institute in Skopje in the department of ethno - musicology. K-MDRI works in close cooperation with Mental Disability Rights International (MDRI), the world leading organization dedicated to promote human rights and full participation of children and adults with mental disabilities worldwide. 17 june Wednesday, at 19:00 Art Center – Faculty of Arts Presentation of the interactive digital artwork of Penesta Dikës and Tomor Elezkurtaj “Shape Color and Sound” and video-performance “Two Moons” by Erëmira Çitaku “Shape, Color & Sound” made by Penesta Dika and Tomor Elezkurtaj is an interactive digital artwork that enables creating simultaneously “audible images” and “visible sounds” through tangible shapes/objects. “Shape, Color & Sound” was presented in the world biggest festival of electronic art, in the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz (Austria). “2 Hana” by Erëmira Çitaku is a video-performance with flute 17 minuts. This perfomance is caracterised by the way of aoutors comunication ( with music instruments and her poetry) in video art work. It contents a film editing that is followed by melody and poetry that are connected with the concept of the work. Penesta Dika received her Master Degree on Art History at the Vienna University in Austria and received the Doctoral Degree at „Kunstuniversität Linz“, Institute for Interface Culture. Her Master Thesis has been published as a book by Logos in Berlin. Parts of her doctoral thesis have been published by international known publishers. Tomor Elezkurtaj holds a doctoral degree from the Department of Architectural Sciences at Vienna University of Technology. His doctoral thesis deals with the application of evolutionary algorithms in architectural designing and was presented in worldwide known conferences. Angelika Sheridan studied classical flute at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen and studiedfurther improvisation and experimental music with Ran Blake und John Heiss in Boston, USA. Ute Völker Is an accordionist who specialises in improvised music. In her music she explores the possibilities of her instrument. She creates sound architecture, which dissolves space and time while constantly finding new and surprising acoustic forms. Ute Völker is one of the founding members of the ensemble for new and improvised music, PARTITA RADICALE, whose work ranges from the development of their own improvisational cycles through to silentfilm music and working together with composers and theatre projects. As a pianist and improviser he is actively involved in many international collaborations and as an organizer he runs the oaksmus CD label and produced the associated concert series in Berlin. Furthermore he has designed several education projects, for instance for Universität der Künste Berlin and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.His roots in jazz and improvised music combine with his radical aesthetic approach to musical composition resulting in the unmistakable language of an unusual spirit.
