Hold General' Staff Meeting In Chicago<br />

ON MAY 17, 18ahd 19, for the fourth consecutive<br />
year, the principal officers of The <strong>Milwaukee</strong><br />
<strong>Road</strong> came together in Chicago to pool their knowl<br />
,edge and experience in the solution of operating<br />
and traffic problems.<br />
As before, the joint meeting was the second of<br />
a three-day conference which brought together<br />
more than 200 executive and general officers, division<br />
officers, traffic representatives and others in<br />
key positions.<br />
The first day was given over to the traffic men<br />
and the third was for operating department representatives<br />
only, while the second provided an opportunity<br />
for the discussion of many related<br />
problems.<br />
Mr. Kiley, who presided at all three of the meet.<br />
ings, pointed out at the beginning of the joint<br />
meeting that it seemed good to him that there<br />
should be so many subjects to discuss.<br />
