The purpose of the Women's Self Government Association is to
assist in regulating matters pertaining to women students by present­
ing opportunities for leadership in participation of college affairs, and
by promoting a deeper interest in the life of the college through unity
of the women. The organization sponsors many activities such as the
annual Big and Little Sister activities, the annual Freshmen party, and
the House Mother's Tea. The advisors are Miss Mary Hamilton, Miss
Betty Baird, and Miss Edith Cartwright. The officers are: President,
Beverly Boguski; Vice-President, Carol Staples; Secretary, Mary Mackey;
Treasurer, Sue Winters.
