LICHENS<br />

One can consult Bennett and Wetmore (2005) for an introduction to <strong>the</strong> <strong>National</strong> <strong>Park</strong>s database <strong>of</strong><br />

lichens reported from <strong>the</strong> North American <strong>National</strong> <strong>Park</strong>s. They report 39 references and 277 taxa from<br />

BBNP. They estimate that 91-99 % <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> lichen species are now known.<br />
