Freeborne from the Department of Justice representing the
United States, as well as Secretary Gates.

This matter is before the Court for hearings on one
motion and two ex parte applications. The motion is
Plaintiff's Motion to Compel Production of Documents and the ex
parte applications are Plaintiff's Application for an Order
Compelling Defendants to Comply with Log Cabin Republicans'
Notice of Deposition, et cetera, and Plaintiff's Ex Parte
Application for an Order That Certain Requests for Admissions
be Deemed Admitted, et cetera.
I've read all of the papers filed in connection with
each of these matters and I have a number of questions for
counsel.
