1663 Mulready envelope sent to Edinburgh in July 1840. Very nice red MC, faint even
ageing, nicely presentable, dated cancels on back
1664 Mulready lettersheet sent from London to Edinburgh Sept.1840 (dated cancels on
the back). Light soiling and vertical creasing,‐ yet fine looking/acceptable.
1665 2(SG5) 2d 1840 on outer lettersheet to Dublin, on the backside"Limerick No 5
1841". Very fine and fresh 2d with good to broad margins,the cover with a
horizontal crease with some ageing.
1666 3(SG8p) One entire and one large piece,‐ both stamps tied by greenish 1844 postm.
"195" of Kettle and showing the greenish boxed strikes of "Kettle JN 6 1849"/year
weak,the 2.strike weaker,may be "JN 8 ".The stamp on the coveris in good
condition, the other one with 3 margins/one touched. A horizontal filingcrease in
the cover does not affect the stamp. SG £7000,‐ as loose stamps

1668 SG43 pl. 95 in strip of 3 on printed matter to EGYPT! 1868. Must be unusual. 400
1669 SG80. 4d 1862 on entire from "Grimsby OC 22 62" to Paris. Very nice, face free. 350
1670 SG123 pl.11. Pale buff 6d on very fine entire to NORWAY from "Lombard Str. BL DE
28 72" with red oval "PD" and "3d". Norwegian transit mark on back.
1671 SG139 pl.1 in PAIR on entire to Norway from "Newcastle..SP13 75". Smallhinge mark
at top of cover can be removed. "Via Ostende" ‐ more unusual.
1672 SG420. 6 covers,two with adherent advertising labels "Pepus stationery Bodiam" and
"Air mails.."/both with additional 1d sent to Germany, 4 letters with differ. lower
marginals "A24","G27","R32","V23". Looks interesting! Late lot.
1673 SG450+427x2 on very nice air mail cover to Argentina from "Croydon" 1935 with
large red German air mail cachet "Deutsche Luftpost Europa‐Südamerika"
1674 Lot 14 prephil. covers 1824‐44, all with detailed descriptions from a previous auction
with a total estimate of US$ 792 (approximately NOK 4800). Inspect!
1675 Shoebox with around 170 cards, 1900 to modern and 55 covers, mainly semi modern
to modern, but one 1824 with line cancel "Algonquin". 3 postcards may be very
good, one from Hotel Metropole, one with a bus ? wreck
1676 Lot 5 covers to NORWAY franked with QV 1859/1870 + 1 sent unfranked.A couple of
stamps with defects. Late delivery.
1677 o British Post Office in Valparaiso. SG110. 9d 1867 with a clear, bluestrike
"Valparaiso A AU 3 7..". Fine and unusual in this condition
