2598 o‐* GERMAN STATES, very extensive coll., seems to be overcomplete except for
Saxony no.1, some parts widely overcompl., specialized with numerous shades
and various cancels. Many items expertized,some with certificates, some faults
and repairs on expensive items, but a wealth of fine material. As an example;
Baden overcompl. with 68 items incl.2x18kr used and 2x30kr/the used one with a
thin spot. Bremen with 21 items +reprints, some faults but 9 with certificates or
with BPP‐signatures. Bavaria with 166 imperfs! Oldenburg overcompl.,
Württemberg with all 18kr and a nice looking 70kr/closed tear and a wealth of
other imperfs /classics THIS COLLECTION MUST BE SEEN
2599 o‐* Large quantity of classic items old states, starting with around 140 imperf. Baden
plus more than 180 perforated Baden, all states represented with partly large
quantities. Additionally a couple of hundred German Reich 1872 coat‐of‐ arms.
The quality varies from very mixed to very fine, but with potential for a specialist!
Some reprints/forgeries spotted but mainly genuine. Up to mainly medium priced
items/many heavily duplicated. Needs viewing! Low estimate
2600 o‐*‐** Coll. German occupations WWI, Danzig,Memel,Saar and some General‐
gouv.&Bohemia&M. in a Schaubek album. Occupation areas 1914/18 well filled
incl. some extras like Belgium M25II and a 9th army complete cover. Danzig mainly
overcompl. except for the rare air mail set, mainly used/valued as cto, Bl.3 with
special cancel, some good ** officials. Memel complete until 1922 mainly cds,
later well filled mixed */o. Saar 1920‐34 compl. except for a few officials. 1Mk‐
10Mk with var.signatures, 5Mk "A.Brugger BPP"/one split perf., 10fr Madonna
signed "Ney BPP" Good collection with potential
2601 o‐*‐** Coll. Occupation zones 1945‐49 in a Lighthouse hingeless album. Both allied
occupations and Russian zones and Saarland with a very high degree of
completeness incl. many good blocks, allied zones Mi.52I/68I and 52II/68II **
signed "Schlegel BPP"+photo certificate. Some extras like French Zone gutter pairs
used, Saxony&Thüringen perf.varieties and paper differences, W.Saxony Bl.5 cds,
Thüringen Mi.100‐102 cds from block, Bl.2 **/small marginal crease, Bl.3B and
3Byb * Goethe‐Bl ** Saar Bl 1 *(*) Very good collection
2602 o‐*‐** Coll.1930 to modern, but with the main value in German Reich which is fairly well
filled incl. IPOSTA‐bl., Ostropa‐block /very fine, "Nothilfe"‐bl. 1933 and a wide
range of commemoratives and other blocks, a little disorderly assembled in a thick
stock‐book. Also various zones 1945‐49
2603 o‐*‐** Coll. from old states to modern BRD/Berlin in 4 thick stock‐books + 1 album. Good
section of Saar with a.o.80pf and 10Mk "Sarre" and many even better charity
sets/items, some Bavaria, many better charity sets etc 1949 onwards, Berlin red
overprints incl. 1Mk‐2Mk fine used and both areas with a high degree of
completeness after 1952. Good lot
2604 o‐*‐** BOX with 14 stock‐books, many very thick, crammed with material from 1870s to
1980s. A vast range of German Reich, strongly duplicated with much useful
material and exciting 1880s‐1920s, good Berlin from the start etc. This needs
careful sorting by a specialist! Please inspect
2605 o‐*‐** German Colonies‐WWI occupations‐Saar‐Memel etc. Stock‐book filled with quite a
lot of interesting duplications. Much value in colonies incl. fine used high values,
some ** better seen. Clean lot
