drama! A rock in the midst of the turmoil is the elephant – In
Hinduism the tutelary god of travellers. The elephant is the god
who moves obstacles out of your way. I keep thinking about our
big journey through life... In Buddhism elephants are sacred and
represent kings.I love India. For that reason I especially loved to
work on the elephant´s design “India”. And to my wife Katrin,
who loves elephants more than any other animal, I dedicate this
powerful animal.The Indian elephant for me is a symbol for
happiness and a big good friend with divine inspiration.
Bernhard Prinz (*1975), freelance artist, illustrator and
cartoonist, works and lives in Munich. Together with pencil and
girlfriend he escaped to spain, lived there as a street artist by
portaits and caricatures. Gained a reputation by illustrious
representations of German politicians like Gerhard Schroeder. “I
am fascinated by everything that is unique and out of the
ordinary, either in man or object. Through my work I want to
express and preserve one's fascination with individuality – for
the enjoyment of the beholder.”
