St<strong>at</strong>e Track Meet<br />

Led by Coach John Santee, <strong>Cascia</strong><br />

students competed well all season,<br />

earning numerous honors <strong>at</strong> the<br />

Regional Meet where the CH girls<br />

finished second out of 14 teams; six<br />

boys and 12 girls qualified for St<strong>at</strong>e<br />

competition.<br />

At the St<strong>at</strong>e Meet in Ardmore on May<br />

3 and 4, Haley Boone finished 3rd in<br />

the long jump, and Brett Asher took<br />

5th place in the discus.<br />

Both the Track Team and the Girls’<br />

Golf Team earned a Distinguished<br />

Academic Award which is based on the<br />

overall GPA of the members.<br />

Congr<strong>at</strong>ul<strong>at</strong>ions to Coach David Warburton who was selected by the<br />

Oklahoma Coaches Associ<strong>at</strong>ion to be the <strong>2013</strong> All-St<strong>at</strong>e Baseball<br />

coach for the Large East Squad. The game will be played <strong>at</strong> 7 pm on<br />

July 30 <strong>at</strong> J.L. Johnson Stadium <strong>at</strong> ORU.<br />

All St<strong>at</strong>e Inductees<br />

Congr<strong>at</strong>ul<strong>at</strong>ions to the 2012-13<br />

All-St<strong>at</strong>e Inductees. The names<br />

of these seniors will be added to<br />

the All-St<strong>at</strong>e plaques in the Upper<br />

School gym foyer.<br />

Coach David Braley. “As a second<br />

year program, this is a real accomplishment.”<br />

M<strong>at</strong>thew Braley, Bree Echevarria and<br />

Daniel Echevarria (Class of 2014)<br />

were invited to play in the US Kids<br />

Teen World Championship in July in<br />

Pinehurst, North Carolina. An estim<strong>at</strong>ed<br />

30 countries will be represented.
