Site specific performance for the Beirut Street Festival 2011 in Lebanon. Premiere Oct 1 st 2011,<br />

Beirut, Lebanon. Supported by Municipality of Beirut, The Norwegian Embassy in Beirut, Zico<br />

House, FFUK, UD/DTS, OCA and Umam Documentation & Research.<br />

2009 <strong>Siljeholm</strong>/<strong>Christophersen</strong>/Meen Halsøy/Sømme Hammer: Norma Jeane<br />

Premiere March 10 th 2009, Teaterhuset Avant Garden, Trondheim. Co-produced by<br />

Teaterhuset Avant Garden in Trondheim, Norway. A part of the pre-production period was<br />

an artist residency at Maqamat Theatre Dance, Beirut. Supported by Arts Council Norway,<br />

The Norwegian Composer’s Fund, Atelier Nord and INMA (Beirut). Touring Dansens Hus Oslo<br />

June 2009 (sold out all nights), Tou Scene (2010), Tysværtunet Kulturhus (2010), Akershus<br />

Kunstsenter (2010).<br />

2008 <strong>Siljeholm</strong>/<strong>Christophersen</strong>: Eventyrlige Eventyr (Adventurous Adventure)<br />

Age group 5-10 years. Premiere 24 th May 2008, Arendal Kulturhus, Arendal. Touring Markedet<br />

for Scenekunst 08, Trikkehallen på Kjelsås, RAS (Regional Arena for Contemporary Dance),<br />

DKS Aust-Agder, DKS Nordland, DKS Sogn og Fjorande, DKS Finnmark and DKS Oslo<br />

2008/2009/2010/2011, Beirut International Platform of Dance (2010), Amman Contemporary<br />

2005 Sweet nothings<br />

Dancer/choreographer in collaboration with Beata Stanikowska and Kristin Line. Performed in<br />

Oslo, Fredrikstad and Sarpsborg, Norway. Showed at Ny Norsk Dans 2006, Dansens Hus, Oslo.<br />

RESIDENCIES, MASTER CLASSES, ARTISTIC PRACTICE AND EXCHANGE<br />

2011 Artist residency/creative workshop series at NCCA, Amman, Jordan<br />

Artist Residency at The National Centre for Culture and Arts, King Hussein Foundation 3-14 Oct<br />

2011. Invited artists in residence at NCCA as part of the co-production for ‘Snik and Snok on<br />

the Moon’. As part of the residency they taught extended master classes for NCCA’s inhouse<br />

theatre company on methods for creating performances with video/projection and<br />

live performance. Supported by NCCA, UD/DTS and The Norwegian Embassy in Amman.<br />

2011 Summer intensive Sareyyet Ramallah Contemporary Dance Company, Ramallah<br />

<strong>Siljeholm</strong>/<strong>Christophersen</strong> were invited dance artists to work with the Sareyyet Ramallah’s<br />

Contemporary and Folklore Dance Companies. For one month <strong>Siljeholm</strong>/<strong>Christophersen</strong><br />

conducted extended master classes in contemporary dance, focusing on release<br />

technique, contact improvisation, improvisation techniques and instant composition. The<br />

summer intensive is part of a longterm collaboration and exchange between<br />

<strong>Siljeholm</strong>/<strong>Christophersen</strong> and Sareyyet Ramallah. Supported by UD/DTS, The Norwegian<br />

Representative Office to the PA and Sareyyet Ramallah - First Ramallah Group.<br />

2009 Takween, Beirut, Lebanon<br />

Three month pilot project to establish an academy for dance in the Middle East (based in<br />

Beirut) to educate professional contemporary dancers. Initiated by Maqamat Theatre<br />

Dance. <strong>Siljeholm</strong>/<strong>Christophersen</strong> were invited to teach release technique and contact<br />

improvisation.<br />
