Identifying Families Short-Cut — For your Eyes Only
There is a version of the Identifying Families listing that shows 3 FM numbers that I consider are closest to
the fragrance the customer likes so you don’t have to cross-reference lists.
http://scentsforyou.co.uk/doc/IdentifyingFamiliesEyesOnly.pdf
This is for your eyes only and should not be shown to customers, or anyone else. It’s the equivalent of
highlighting perfumes in your own copy of the Fragrance Bible.
There are 4 numbers on the left of each line. The first 3 numbers are the FM perfumes closest to the
Fragrance Wheel Family Group. The one in the middle is the NEARest, the ones either side are the next
closest. They are often in the same fragrance Wheel group and equally close. The fourth number, in the No.
column, is the number of FM perfumes in that group.
The Euro-lawyers have advised the FM Group that we should not have any listings that have FM numbers
and High Street brands associated. I have asked them to re-consider this as Michael Edwards Fragrance
Bible has High Street brands in perfume family group lists, and recommends highlighting as an aid to
identifying possible matches. While this is under consideration, this listing is for your eyes only and should
not be shown to customers. You can see the customers version on the previous page and could write your
own references in the notes section
Again this listing is simply to save you the time in cross-checking lists to find suitable FM Perfumes for your
customer and must not be used in any form of advertising
Sample Case Organiser
This is the colour version of the black & white version from 2011
http://fmukblog.wordpress.com/2011/11/24/tidy-up-your-sample-case/
This is a 2 page PDF document of our FM perfumes arranged in either numerical order or fragrance wheel
order. Cut out the strips and slide them between the rows of samples in your sample case.

Hooray! Your file is uploaded and ready to be published.
