Day 1: Mexico City to Morelia
Meet up with your Contiki Team & leave
Mexico’s capital city behind. Arrive in Morelia
with its fascinating colonial architecture
& picturesque streets. Try some seriously
delicious local food, then it’s out for a
night on the town where you can learn to

Visit a local candy market
Watch the spectacular illumination of
Mexico’s most beautiful cathedral
Day 2: Morelia to Ixtapa via Zihuatanejo
Head out west to the sunny Mexican Riviera
& be amazed at its’ long stretches of white
sand beaches, then kick back in the resort

Day 3: Ixtapa
Have fun walking along the shore in the
‘Hotel Zone’ or discover an authentic

Day 5: Acapulco

Wind into the Sierra Madre Mountains &

Day 7: Taxco to Mexico City
Return to Mexico City & visit the unique
fl oating gardens & markets of Xochimilco.
Then it’s off through “The City of Palaces”
