Flash Floods Hit Tennessee Nashville Dealers Receive Outrageously Dependable Service Many were hit hard when severe flooding took the Nashville area by surprise in early May. A record 13 inches of rain fell in two days in the area, flooding homes and businesses and causing billions of dollars worth of damage. Interstate Batteries of Music City amped up post-flood clean-up efforts by scrubbing, scouring and washing hundreds of batteries that had been sitting in mud and dirty water. According to manager Chris Wood, salvaging some of this stock helped minimize revenue losses for Dealers. “In places where batteries were ruined, the speedy delivery of replacement batteries helped to get most Dealers up and running within a week,” he said. “We moved quickly to get everyone back on their feet.” Despite business losses and personal hardships, Wood said that he was impressed with the good attitudes of his Dealers. “The good news is that the folks we supply have been surprisingly upbeat and positive, and are really working hard to get back up and rolling in the face of adversity,” he said. “And in return, we are doing our best to give them and their customers the most outrageously dependable service in the industry.” Stories UNCOVERED WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOu!
