Earn <strong>College</strong> Credit as You Study Abroad!<br />

Students at <strong>Fresno</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>College</strong> may take advantage of international study programs offered by the college district. The<br />

international programs allow students an opportunity to study in another country while earning transferable college credit, as<br />

well as enable them to gain a first-hand understanding of other regions and cultures of the world. The following programs will<br />

be offered in 2008:<br />

Semester in Costa Rica – Spring Semester 2008: Study Geography and Biology and learn Spanish as you experience<br />

the diverse land—volcanoes, beaches, rainforests—and incredible variety of plant and animal life of this country known<br />

for its world renowned conservation programs. Dates and cost not available at time of printing. Application deadline:<br />

November 2007.<br />

The London Program – June 2008: Study Criminal Justice or Music as you tour London. Program cost: approximately<br />

$2,500 plus airfare. Application deadline: March 2008.<br />

Summer in Spain – June 2008: Study Spanish in Salamanca, a city steeped in history and rich with beautiful Romanesque architecture. Program<br />

cost: $4,500, including airfare. Application deadline: March 2008<br />

Summer in Paris – July 2008: Study French and World Literature or Human Relations in Business as you visit sites throughout Paris. Program<br />

cost is approximately $3,000 plus airfare. Application deadline: March 2008<br />

Summer in Florence – June or July 2008: Study Art in Florence–a city known for its magnificent art and architecture. Dates and cost not available<br />

at time of printing. Application deadline: March 2008<br />
