How Does it work? Electronic devices (transceivers) or ‘blue blue boxes’, boxes , are installed on board fishing vessels. These devices automatically send data to a satellite which transmits transmits to a land base station which in turn, sends them to the appropriate Fisheries Monitoring Centre Centre (FMC).
