Samples of Prionace glauca come from Aegean Sea, the Ionian Sea, the Adriatic Sea and the<br />
Levantine basin.<br />
Age and growth data presented in this Section include parameters for the von Bertalanffy<br />
growth model (VBGM) (von Bertalanffy 1938) which provides estimates of L∞, the<br />
asymptotic or maximum length (or width for some batoids), k, the growth coefficient, and t0,<br />
the age or time when length theoretically equals zero (tabl. 5).<br />
