The <strong>D1</strong> and <strong>D3</strong> <strong>SAN</strong> <strong>Storage</strong> models bring together the best<br />
attributes of modular storage and enterprise-class arrays —<br />
without limits, without compromise. D-Series arrays are used<br />
for iSCSI and Fibre Channel direct-attached or <strong>SAN</strong> primary<br />
storage, high capacity secondary storage, or both in a two-tier<br />
storage hierarchy. D-series arrays are well-suited for database<br />
transactions, disk-to-disk backup, video production, surveillance,<br />
and other block-level storage applications.<br />
