structurally engineered to absorb
and dissipate energy during a
collision by a process known as
controlled deformation.

Prius c comes standard with a
front Advanced Airbag System that
provides dual stage functionality.
In a collision, the system senses
impact severity and adjusts airbag
deployment accordingly.

Whiplash-Injury-Lessening (WIL)
seatback frames are engineered
to yield in a controlled fashion,
reducing the motion differential
between the occupant’s head and
torso, and helping minimize injury.

Prius c provides 3-point seatbelts
in all seating positions, while
the front seats are also equipped
with pretensioners and 2-step
force limiters.

LATCH
LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers
for CHildren) helps protect the
smaller members of your family.
LATCH includes lower anchors
on outboard rear seats and tether
anchors on all rear seats.
