CREIGHTON PREP

For as long as I can remember my father told me that I was going to
go to Prep. He was determined that the combination of academic rigor
and spiritual development would make me a better man. Disabled by
the nearly complete loss of his eyesight and a myriad of other physical
ailments, my father was unable to work. My mother, already burdened
with the cost of my older sister’s college tuition and expenses, resolved
to help complete my father’s vision for his son and make Prep possible.
Despite their best efforts, my parents would not have been able to do it
alone. The Annual Funds ensured that my economic status had little, if
any, impact on my ability to receive a first class education. The Annual
Funds, supported by generous donors, made up the “GAP” and allowed
me to attend Prep. I’ve always thought that this was a true reflection of
Prep’s commitment to social justice. The opportunity for any capable
and willing young man to experience an environment where he will
be challenged academically, socially and spiritually should have no
relationship to the socio-economic situation he was born into. Prep made
sure that this was true for my family then and continues with that mission
today. Support Prep’s efforts to make this a reality now and in the
future. Annual Funds is an ongoing need that relies on your support!
