Join 3p PLUS and get an immediate and
reliable screening of the overall performance
in sustainability credentials such as Social
Accountability, Environmental Compatibility,
Sustainable Economization and Product
Safety. Retailers and brands can choose the
most suitable producer, minimizing risks and
benchmark compliance areas. The 3p PLUS
system can be used on a dynamic annual
subscription base.
The rated producer/supplier gets an
overall performance report of his company
highlighting strengths and weaknesses. The
rated performance level will become visible
and allows future dynamic optimization. Any
producer/supplier has the option to initiate or
speed up remediation process supported by
our experts. On top there will be the option
to become part of the web community

promoting company and products on a virtual
platform to all potential buyers. This
highlights him as a reliable business partner,
increases his reputation and shows his
performance to potential customers.
The benchmarking system does not expect a
completely new or different orientation but
includes all standards the producer might
already have (such as ISO 9000/14000,
OEKOTEX, SA8000, GOTS, BSCI, Brand
Codes of Conduct, etc. ).
Nevertheless 3p PLUS can be extended as per
buyers expectations with additional tailored
requirements to the 3p PLUS indicators. A top
performance rating level for a producer does
not only validate available standards and
certifications but assures additional relevant
system criteria for a lasting sustainable
performance.
Results of the benchmarking can
become an integrated part of the
internal Risk Management System.

The benchmarking procedure starts with a web
based assessment. The producer submits general
company data and provides evidence on
implemented management systems, safety
measures and certifications. The three dimensions
of sustainability - product people planet - are
interrogated online.
The provided data are screened and evaluated by
gsm. A communicational process is initiated to
cross check available information and the validity
and reliability of the data. If further details and/or
documents are needed, our experts will team up
with the producer/vendor for clarification of open
issues.
All data transmitted is assured as confidential by a
separate non-disclosure agreement, only the
results can be made public by the assessed
producer.

The benchmarking process
Based on the online-assessment results a basic
report is generated. This report reflects the overall
performance of a producer as well as details
concerning the different sustainability dimensions.
Producers can optionally vote for a site verification
audit as add on. The site audit has the objective to
check the online reported measures and systems
on-site. The results are documented in an
advanced report posted on the web platform.
Remediation, improvement and optimization can
be continued on a voluntary base in cooperation
with our qualified local partners. Experts in the
requested field such as environment or product
safety will guide the producer through the
improvement process for a better performance.
