its board of governors and<br />

received the florida Medical<br />
Association’s certificate<br />
of merit and the Laureate<br />

professor at <strong>Emory</strong>. He has<br />
been an ACOG member<br />
since 1980 and has served<br />
as its president and on its<br />
executive board. He is<br />
a past president of the<br />
Georgia Obstetrical and<br />
Gynecological Society.<br />
In 2007, the School of<br />
Medicine presented him<br />
with the Alumni Award<br />
of Honor.<br />
Joseph Stubbs 79M was<br />
elected president for<br />
2009–2010 of the American<br />
College of Physicians. He is<br />
an internist in Albany, Ga.<br />
He served two terms on<br />
the college’s board of<br />
regents and is chair-elect<br />
of its foundation for<br />

(ELAM) Program for<br />
Women at Drexel <strong>University</strong><br />
College of Medicine.<br />
ELAM is the only national<br />
program dedicated<br />
to preparing senior women<br />
faculty for leadership at<br />
academic health centers.<br />
Castellano is an associate<br />
professor of obstetrics and
