• Speak one at a time – we want to hear and understand what each commenter is
saying
• Provide opportunity for everyone to speak – keep your comments or questions to a
few minutes
• Use the microphone -- so everyone can hear
• Keep on track with the agenda – we have a lot to cover to help inform the Committee’s
on-going work
• Focus on the issues, not the people -- be respectful of one another
• What you say is important – we’ll prepare a meeting summary of all comments and
questions, without attribution by name or organization
• Minimize use of acronyms – so everyone can follow the conversation

CSWP = Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan (draft)
EPA = United States Environmental Protection Agency
MADEP = Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection
MEP = Massachusetts Estuarine Project
MGD = millions of gallons per day
Mg/L = milligrams per liter
TMDL = Total Maximum Daily Load
