About REBNY
The Real Estate Board of New York (“REBNY”) was created in 1896 as the first real estate trade
association in New York state. Real Estate Board members are New York City’s most talented, energetic
and influential real estate professionals. REBNY works on behalf of its members to promote public and
industry policies, and frequently speaks before government bodies to, among other things, expand New
York’s economy, encourage the development and renovation of commercial and residential real
property, enhance the city’s appeal to investors and residents and facilitate property management.
In addition, REBNY conducts seminars to help members hone their professional skills and undertakes a
wide variety of research projects studying the current residential and commercial conditions within the
city.
About the Residential Management Council
The Residential Management Council (“RMC”) is a committee of residential managers including both
coop/condo and rental properties. The RMC invites speakers from relevant organizations to discuss
information important to the interests of those in the residential management community.
In addition, the RMC is a valuable forum for residential managers to share best practices, discuss
common issues, and network in an informal setting. The RMC discusses upcoming legislation, holds
events, and recognizes excellence within its community at the annual Residential Management Breakfast.
