The menu settings in the terminals, both the<br />

can be made conveniently using only the<br />
touch-sensitive screen. Both terminals also have<br />
navigation keys. You can navigate through the<br />
menus using either the keys or the touchscreen.<br />

The new <strong>Variotronic</strong> TI headland management<br />
allows operators to create turning manoeuvres very<br />
easily, while the tractor is standing or driving, and<br />
then saves them for the speci c implement. The<br />
entire operating sequence is shown along with the<br />
corresponding triggers and values, such as the seconds<br />
or the distance to the next step, which makes<br />
it easy for operators to understand the procedure.<br />
Individual steps in the operating sequence can be<br />
edited at a later time.<br />
ISOBUS (ISO 11783) compliant<br />
implement control<br />
In the new Varioterminal you can define individual<br />
settings for each ISO 11783 compliant<br />
implement as well as for several operators and<br />
save them under a custom name. Once configured,<br />
each individual setting can be loaded<br />
very easily and edited, if required. An additional<br />
terminal, which can obstruct your view and run<br />
up extra costs, is not necessary.<br />

With VarioGuide RTK/Ntrip you can achieve the greatest<br />
accuracy and constant precision throughout the day and<br />
night The RTK station provides correction signals without<br />
requiring a subscription and covers a radius of up to ve<br />
kilometres. This permits several vehicles to use the signals of<br />
just one RTK base station.<br />
With Ntrip, the signals are transmitted reliably through the<br />
mobile communications network, which guarantees high<br />
availability. In this way you can attain maximum accuracy,<br />
even when working in di erent regions.<br />
Easy to move and well protected<br />
The antenna unit can easily be transferred between VarioGuide ready machines<br />
within minutes. The individual components, such as the antenna, receiver and<br />
roll bias compensation unit are accommodated in a compact housing unit and<br />
fully integrated in the roof. The antenna is therefore optimally protected against<br />
external in uences such as blows from branches.<br />
Always on the right track<br />
In addition to the OmniSTAR correction signal<br />
and the mobile reference station with a range<br />
of up to three to five kilometres, there are also<br />
other correction signal services available: the<br />
free European signal EGNOS, a stationary RTK<br />
station with a transmitting capacity of up to<br />
30 kilometres, as well as Ntrip with reception<br />
over a mobile communications network. This<br />
way you can put together the optimum signal<br />
to meet the requirements of your business.<br />

High reliability and constant signal<br />
VarioGuide uses GPS satellites and the Russian<br />
GLONASS system and is already ready for the<br />
future European GALILEO satellite system. The<br />
<strong>Fendt</strong> automatic steering system also works<br />
with the latest receiver technology for all the<br />
signals. On the one hand, that guarantees<br />
exceptional reliability and accuracy, on the<br />
other, it almost completely prevents obstruction<br />
through trees or similar objects.<br />

and convenient data recording for<br />

the Varioterminal, all relevant information can<br />
already be entered in the field so that follow-up<br />

it works the other way around, too – new jobs<br />
can be created using the PC and transferred to<br />

Secure data exchange<br />
Just one single synchronisation procedure is<br />
all that is needed to update data on both the<br />
PC and terminal. Then you have all the current<br />
master data, such as on pesticide or fertiliser<br />
use, available on board and you can react<br />
to changing conditions swiftly. Convenient<br />
data exchange via Bluetooth or mobile communications<br />
network guarantees a secure<br />
transfer. Jobs are saved in the terminal until<br />
the exchange has been completely finished.<br />
