EVENT STATUS AND VENUE<br />
This event is the second event of the <strong>Southern</strong> <strong>Off</strong> <strong>Road</strong> <strong>Challenge</strong> and is of FIM AFRICA<br />
<strong>Challenge</strong> Status.<br />
The Event will take place on Saturday 18 th May 2013, commencing with documentation at<br />
13.00hrs, followed by scrutineering and sound testing. Riders may then ride a recce lap. The<br />
race will be on Sunday 19 May at 0900hrs 2013, and will be deemed to have finished once the<br />
results have been announced and the period of official protest has elapsed.<br />

This event is held at Brian Cocker’s Arda Farm Shamva Rd<br />

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE<br />
Travel east on Enterprise <strong>Road</strong> from Harare center. Bare left after the TOLL Gate. This is the<br />
Shamva Rd. Approx 20km from the Toll gate turn LEFT at the “Kariba Store” on to a dirt road.<br />
Approx 1.5km take the left fork and follow the signs to the DSP.<br />

RIDING NUMBERS<br />
In the event of competitors sharing the same racing number, but from a different Federation (FMN), the<br />
visiting Federation (FMN) rider will have priority and the host Federation (FMNR) rider will be asked to<br />
change their number. Organisers will advise FMNR rider, 7 days before event, by email of any duplicate<br />
and issue the affected rider an alternate number for the event. No stickers will be provided.<br />
It is recommended that All riders put their racing number on their back for ease of reference for officials.<br />
The onus is on the rider to ensure his numbers are legible, either by wearing their race shirt/bib over<br />
their hydration pack/ Camelbak, or by attaching their race number to their hydration<br />
pack/Camelbak. It is in their interests to do so.<br />
ADVERTISING<br />
FIM AFRICA requires that all machines participating in the FIM AFRICA approved event display the FIM<br />
AFRICA approved logo on the top right or bottom corner of the front number board.<br />
The organiser shall supply the approved sticker.<br />
Sponsored riders may include the logo in their sponsored sticker kits provided they are of the<br />
approved size and colours<br />
The Logo shall be a minimum of 35mm x 35mm on a white background with a black border<br />
and not obscure the riding no.<br />
STARTING ORDER<br />
Starting order will be determined by championship point standings, alternating between B2 and B1 riders.<br />
Riders with no championship points will be drawn by ballot at first Jury meeting.<br />
