HOW CAN I BE PART OF IT?<br />
The next Future Shorts <strong>festival</strong> programme will<br />
screen worldwide from November 1st 2011 to<br />
January 31st 2012. Programme highlights include <strong>the</strong><br />
BAFTA winning The Eagleman Stag, Oscar-winner God<br />
of Love, and Sundance-winner Deeper Than<br />
Yesterday.<br />
To set <strong>up</strong> your own screening - <strong>the</strong> process is simple.<br />
Email <strong>festival</strong>@futureshorts.com to buy a license. We<br />
will send you a DVD in <strong>the</strong> post. Then you can<br />
organise a screening event, charge for tickets and<br />
keep <strong>the</strong> profits. That’s it.<br />
The Festival is powered by a worldwide community of<br />
partners. It is in your hands. Every partner is<br />
responsible for organising <strong>the</strong>ir own screening event –<br />
which includes arranging a venue, projection and<br />
promoting <strong>the</strong> event.<br />
FUTURE PARTNERS:<br />
Once you have become a Future Shorts screening<br />
partner, you have <strong>the</strong> potential to become a full<br />
PRO Partner after one year of running screenings.<br />
WHAT DOES IT COST?<br />
The cost of <strong>the</strong> license is tied into <strong>the</strong> size of<br />
your venue and sometimes <strong>the</strong> country you’re in.<br />
Typical costs for a license in <strong>the</strong> UK / per<br />
programme are:<br />
Small £75<br />
Medium £150<br />
Large £250<br />
Sadly, we cannot give away licenses. It’s important we<br />
compensate <strong>the</strong> <strong>film</strong>makers for <strong>the</strong>ir work and this<br />
just isn’t possible when <strong>the</strong> <strong>film</strong>s are given away for<br />
free. If you want to hold a screening but can’t afford<br />
