Eligibility Criteria for GAFSP Investment Proposals In order to qualify for GAFSP funding support through the Second Call, investment proposals must meet the following criteria: 1. Sponsored by private entities in the agribusiness sector, including input and service providers, and related infrastructure and financial intermediaries servicing the sector. Governments, nongovernment organizations and other not-for-profit entities are not eligible for the Second Call. 2. Project takes place in eligible countries (see Annex 1 for list of eligible countries). 3. Total project size of US$5 million or greater. 4. Demonstrated profitability over the last three (3) years of the project or evidence of long-term financial sustainability. 5. High quality management. 6. Financial capacity to service existing and new debt. 7. Compliance with IFC's Environmental & Social Performance Standards 1 and IFC exclusion list 2 Proposal Submission Form of submission: The preferred form of submission is via e-mail (GAFSPSecretariat@ifc.org) or, alternatively, by courier to GAFSP PSW (GAFSP PSW Secretariat IFC; ATTN: Urkaly Isaev mailstop F2K-206; 2121 Pennsylvania Avenue; Washington, DC 20037) Disclosure policy: Please note that the proposal documentation submitted will be subject to IFC Disclosure Policies. 3 However, if the proposal documentation includes confidential or sensitive text or data that the applicant does not want disclosed publicly, this may be highlighted in the submission. Language of proposal: English is the operational language of GAFSP, thus submissions are expected only in English.
