Miss Rodeo Mandan 2013
Codi Ann Miller is the 20-year old daughter of Gary and Stacey Miller. She grew up on a
ranch near Amidon, N.D. Miller will graduate in December 2012 from Black Hills State
University with a business degree in tourism and hospitality management. She plans to have
a career in the public relations field, planning and promoting events aimed toward political
and/or non-profit organizations. Miller would like to continue her education by obtaining a
bachelor’s degree in communications.
Miller has participated in rodeos, livestock judging, and was in 4-H for 10 years. “Growing
up driving tractors and riding horses taught me the value of family, agriculture, and hard
work,” says Miller. She was a member of the 2009 N.D. High School Rodeo All-Star
Wrangler team, the 2010 All-Star Cinch team, and was the 2009-2010 state pole bending
champion. She has won national honors in an interior design competition, competed in
speech meets, and has modeled in a runway show. Miller has had the honor to represent the state as Miss North Dakota Teen USA 2009, Miss North Dakota High School
Rodeo Association 2010, and Miss North Dakota Collegiate America 2012.
On her way to capturing the title of Miss Rodeo Mandan on July 4, 2012, Miller won the categories of horsemanship, personality, and appearance. “I am so proud to
represent one of the oldest and largest rodeos in North Dakota and the history that comes with it,” Miller says.
Miller will represent the Mandan Rodeo Days in the 2013 Miss Rodeo North Dakota Pageant.
