one of our food and wine trails, or indulge in one of
our delicious events. explore the Hinterland food and
wine trail which meanders north to south along the
coast where you can discover gourmet delicacies and
boutique wines. Highlights include:
Sirromet Winery:
The multi-award winning Sirromet Wines is
Queensland’s largest and most highly awarded winery.
enjoy a fabulous wine tasting, take an extensive winery
tour and enjoy the spectacular views and breathtaking
scenery whilst being tempted by the mouth watering
cuisine at restaurant Lurleen’s.
Tweed Endeavour Cruises:
Tantalise your tastebuds aboard our activities based
Crab Catching Cruise. Imagine pulling up a crab pot
from the picturesque Tweed river and discovering
it full of succulent mud crabs that will be cooked on
board. explore the diverse waterways of the Tweed,
get up close with the local wildlife and try your luck at
fishing, yabbie pumping and crab catching.
Tropical Fruit World:
entice all your senses at Tropical Fruit World where
you can experience a visual and taste packed feast
of more than 500 varieties of tropical and rare fruit.
Situated in the beautiful Tweed valley, the Plantation
Safari gives a guided tour of the farm.

explore the Hinterland food and wine trail which
meanders through the Gold Coast’s Mount Tamborine
hinterland region, where you can discover more
gourmet delicacies and boutique wines. Sample
wines at the cellar door, or indulge in local cheeses,
chocolates, local produce and even explore arts and
crafts areas. Highlights include:
Gallery Walk:
Gallery Walk located at eagle Heights at Tamborine
Mountain offers 500 metres of boutique shops, art
and craft galleries, cafes and restaurants along the
main street. Stop at a cafe for a coffee or stroll along
with a bag of fudge from the Fudge Shop.
Witches Chase Cheese Company:
Manufacturer of fine hand made cheeses including
camembert, washed rind, feta and unique Queensland
blue cheese. Also, gourmet ice cream made and sold
on the premises. The manufacturing process can be
observed on site as well as tastings.
O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards:
Located in peaceful Canungra Valley in the Gold
Coast hinterland, O’reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards
is a boutique vineyard and historic Queenslander
