CLIMATE<br />

Days are generally warm and<br />

sunny; it can be humid in the<br />

summer. Temperatures range<br />

from 50°F/10°C to 73°F/23°C<br />

December through February, and<br />

from 72°F/22°C to 91°F/33°C July<br />

through September. The average<br />

daily temperature is 76°F/24°C.<br />

pROxIMITy<br />

<strong>Florida</strong> Tech is 10 minutes from the Melbourne<br />

International Airport, Melbourne Beach and the I-95<br />

interstate highway. Kennedy Space Center is 45 minutes<br />

north and Orlando area tourist attractions (such as<br />

Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World) are an hour to<br />

the west. Miami is 270 km, about 3 hours, due south.<br />
