5. Fire fighting measures<br />
Fire risk: Burns if heated, giving off smoke and pungent vapours. Chars above<br />
300°C<br />
Explosion hazard: As with all carbohydrates, a potential explosion hazard<br />
exists in high concentrations of dust in the air.<br />
Extinguishing Media: Use CO2 or dry chemical for small fires and water or foam<br />
for large fires. Will become slippery when wet.<br />

Appearance: off-white to yellowish powder.<br />
