Manufacturer’s Recommendations Storage - products should be stored in their original packages, on pallets or shelves; - packages with products inside are to be properly spaced providing suitable air flow, protecting against improper humidity and/or temperature; - unwrapped products should be stored in a manner not permitting their deformation, e.g. rolls in vertical position, abrasive mops in horizontal or hanging position. Storage Climate Conditions - temperature range 18° ÷ 22ºC, - relative humidity 45 ÷ 65 %. High humidity causes flabbiness and/or unevenness of the backing and premature breaking off of the abrasive material. Low humidity and too high or low temperature deteriorate flexibility of the backing, making it crumbly and brittle. Adjustment To Storage Climate Conditions Endless abrasive belts, prior to their use, should get adjusted to the conditions in which they are to be used. Endless belts are recommended to be left for 24 hours hanging on special racks at the work stand. IMPROPER STORAGE OF COATED ABRASIVES DETERIORATES THEIR PERFORMANCE AND DURABILITY, AND CAN DAMAGE OR EVEN DESTROY THE PRODUCT Operating Conditions Proper selection of grinding machines and/or abrasives is an essential condition of effective working of workpieces. An efficiently operating dust extraction system, shape and hardness of the clamping piece and its surface condition, that all substantially affect a sanding/grinding process to be correct and effective. In order to improve the quality of processed surface, machines should be maintained in good technical condition. Be sure the endless belts (F 1, F 2 & F 5 types of joints) run in the direction as indicated by the arrow. How-To-Order Information This catalogue is intended to make selection of required products quick and easy. Products on offer are ’in stock’ or ’manufactured on order’. The How-To-Order procedure is presented hereunder.
