Fiskars next generation axes are built upon 20 years of experience, enhanced process and strict attention to
details. We have enhanced the blade geometry and ensured the perfect balance between head and shaft for
the most safe, efficient and comfortable use. All axes are easily identifiable by the product name now printed
on the handle. The ultralight and durable Fibercomp handle minimizes fatigue and makes the axe virtually
unbreakable. The optimized anti-shock surface structure offers a comfortable, firm grip with just the right feel.
The hooked end of the handle prevents the axe from slipping: it allows the hand to slide down easily when it
should, but ensures it stops at the end. The new blade geometry and rounder edges ensures easy removal
from the log when splitting wood. While the cutting bevel angle for chopping axes has been kept at 30, the
bevel angle for splitting is 35 on the cutting convex cutting angle. The convex shape strengthens the edge to
make it less sensitive to fracture.
All axes come with a brand new sheath for easy handling and protection of the blade.
