FIRST AID Members from St John ambulance will be on the grounds.<br />

STALLIONS Stallions, should wear official ‘discs’ at all times whilst at the venue, including<br />

Yard/stable, float etc. These discs are to be worn on both sides of head collars and bridles or<br />

on some part of the horse on both sides to identify to others that the horse is a stallion. No<br />

stallion is to be moved around a venue without displaying the stallion discs and a suitable<br />

restraint. The restraint can be a bridle, a rearing bit or a chain lead rein over the nose or<br />

under the jaw.<br />

CHAMPIONS Awarded as per EA rules for all Official (open) classes. Associate champion<br />

awards will only be for Preliminary and Novice levels. There will be an FEI Small Tour<br />

Champion and FEI Big Tour Champion. Pony Champion will be awarded to the pony with the<br />

highest aggregate percentage of the two tests ridden at one level. There will only be one<br />

Pony Champion awarded across all tests.<br />

GEAR CHECK If no gear check person is available remember – it is up to the riders to<br />

present themselves to the judge with the correct and appropriate gear. The judge has the<br />

right to eliminate any riders/horses wearing or using gear and attire not approved by the EA<br />

and/or FEI. Please consult the EA rule book for clarification if necessary – there is a new rule<br />

book release January 2013 .<br />

HORSES If a horse has a propensity to kick, or engage in another dangerous activity, then<br />

the horse must be attended by a suitably experienced person at all times.<br />

A horse behaving in a dangerous manner may be required to leave an event/warm-up<br />

area/parking area. Any horse so required will be taken has having been scratched from the<br />

day’s competition and will not be permitted to be ridden on the ground.<br />

Refund available on receipt of doctor’s or vet’s certificate received within 24hrs.<br />

Bridle numbers are compulsory for all official tests and must be clearly seen on either<br />

side of the horse. Horses are not required to stop at the judges car, but must ride in front of<br />

the judge and ensure that the judge has acknowledged you.<br />

prizes to the competition.<br />

Free Rein Photography will be the official photographers for the event, if you would like to<br />

make a booking for photos please email freerein@live.com.au and include your name,<br />

bridle #, time and arena #
