adaptation implies that the effect of a promotion lasts one period only <strong>and</strong> zero adaptation implies that the effect<br />
is permanent. All job attributes <strong>and</strong> health <strong>and</strong> wellbeing outcome variables are st<strong>and</strong>ardized (st<strong>and</strong>ard deviation<br />
one) with the exception of log income <strong>and</strong> hours.<br />
