Fizzle Science:<br />

Come aboard the Magic School Bus with Mrs.<br />

Fizzle! You will explore and learn about slime,<br />

goop, and the world of germs through<br />

investigations, experiments, and reading.<br />

Science is fun and Mrs. Fizzle will show you<br />

why. You will build your investigative skills and<br />

increase your science knowledge of interesting<br />

science topics!<br />

Going On a Treasure Hunt – Geocaching:<br />

Come explore geography and technology<br />

through geocaching and Google Earth! You<br />

will learn how to discover hidden treasures or<br />

“caches” outside using a GPS system. While<br />

exploring, you will discover the physical<br />

features of our area, which you will use with<br />

Google Earth to create a virtual treasure hunt.<br />

This class will teach you a basic understanding<br />

of the Hartland/Wisconsin geographical area,<br />

its features, and how to use both a GPS and<br />

Google Earth.<br />

Fore!:<br />

Come and learn the fundamentals of golf! This<br />

class will teach you the terminology associated<br />

with golf and you will learn the skills and<br />

strategies of a great golfer. Whether you’re<br />

planning on learning the game to compete or<br />

Introduction to the Martial Arts:<br />

For people new to the martial arts, the<br />

benefits of martial arts training might not be<br />

obvious. Some will think, sure, it's a great<br />

workout--just look at that "Ty Bo" guy. And of<br />

course it's good for self-defense, with all that<br />

punching and kicking. But the benefits of<br />

martial arts training, especially for children<br />

are much more than simple physical<br />

improvements. Martial arts benefits span a<br />

variety of physical, mental, and social<br />

attributes. In this class, you will learn about<br />

the variety of martial arts, their benefits, and<br />

some simple moves.<br />
