coaches, "We get to know a lot of
people first-hand." he said.

Salem, Glenn dual finishes in a draw
Talk about luck.
Plymouth Salem and Westland
John Glenn forged a 206-206 tie
Friday at Fellows Creek, leaving
both golf teams with a 1-0-1
dual-meet records in the Western
Lakes Activities Association.
The meet went to the sjxth
golfer on each team to break the
tie. but the tie remained — both
carded a 48.
Which is where the luck intercedes.
On the final hole", Salem's
Pat Belvitch drove his tee shot
out of bounds, which proved costly.
Belvitch ended up with a double-bogey
for a final score of 48.
Glenn's Justin Fendelet, on
the same finishing hole,
appeared to be doomed to the
same fate when'his tee shot
headed out of bounds. But as
luck would have it. Fendelet"*
drive hit a.guide wire holding up
a utility pole and bounced back
into play.
